Clarice Granado
Swedish soprano Clarice Granado received her education at Adolf Fredrik’s School of Music, Lilla Akademien Music High School and BASE23 – Stockholm Dance Academy. She also studied musical and acting at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York, where she was awarded a scholarship after admission, and after that appeared in musicals, such as West Side Story, in the United States.
In 2021 Clarice returned to Sweden for studies at the University Collage of Opera in Stockholm where she graduated in 2024. During her studies she did an internship at the Royal Opera in Stockholm. She made her operatic debut in the lead role Gelinda in “Il Colore fa la Regina” by Carlo Francesco Pollarolo in 2022 at the Vadstena Academy.
Among recent engagements to be mentioned are Pamina at “Folkoperan” in Stockholm, which was broadcast on Swedish Television, Elsbeth in Fantasio at Läckö Castle Opera and Young Selma/Princess in Selma at Wermland Opera.
Clarice is also sought after as a concert singer with a wide ranging repertoir. Recently she had great succes in Carmina Burana with the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra.
She is a two-time Anders Sandrew Scholar and also received scholarships from “Jubelfonden”, the “July 25, 1988 Foundation”and “the Anders Wall Foundation”.
